Truffles for Father

Look! I made my dad some chocolates for christmas and spent blooming ages painting a box for them to go in, pictured here in front of a sleeve of fantastic Jonny Hannah prints, purchased by my ma. It was immense fun creating this present, especially icing the chocs; for some reason I find icing amazingly enjoyable. Plan B career, peut-etre?

I think that is possibly the most amazing present I have seen this year! The chocolates look so professional!

Lindsay, my professional chocolatier's opinion is AMAZING. What a great present idea, what kind of truffles were they?

Dark chocolate truffle with 6 different fillings - citrus peel; cherry; hazelnut; rum soaked raisin; fig; ginger. ... how's the chocolatiering going Kirsten?

I would LOVE to receive such a nice present. So much thought went into it...very different from a pair of m&s socks that my poor father always gets!!! xx
